1s November is a national public holiday when those who have died are remembered by visits to the cemetery to lay flowers and often have a picnic. Torrevieja lays on free buses from t he town centre to the cemetery for this day. The autumn and winter cultural programme will have many classical events – opera, ballet and symphony orchestras, not forgetting pop and jazz concerts. Benidorm celebrate the patronal festivities and is easily reached from Torrevieja.

 

 

This year the first weekend is 1 st November being All Saints and a Public Holiday nationally. Some towns also hold the 2 nd as a local holiday.

Villena - 1/8 th fair.

Cocentaina - 1/3 famous medieval market of Tots els Sants with 30,000 people.

LÁlfaz del Pi   - 7 th fiestas.

Benidorm - 1/3 patronal fiesta but more to come on 18 and 19 th .

Torrevieja - Tuesday 11 th Armistice Day with service at La Siesta Church.

La Nucia - Romeria to San Rafael Sanctuary.

Torrevieja, Teulada and other towns celebrate this whole month with concerts but especially on this day the patron saint of musicians.

Pinoso - 22/23 Hogueras and a procession in honour of Santa Catalina.

Tibi - 28/30 Romeria and fiestas.

Almoradi - Saint Andrew fiesta
