Torrevieja has its own patronal festivities at the beginning of this month that extends throughout the month and into the next with Christmas and the Three Kings Day. The 6th is a national public holiday celebrating the Spanish Constitución. The 8th December is a national Holiday as well, the Immaculate Conception who is patroness of Torrevieja. This double date means an influx of visitors who enjoy the huge crib scene in the main plaza, the now annual British Carol Service; the large Scandinavian donated Christmas tree. The Floral procession now includes many groups of foreign residents. Be careful on the 28th, Day of the Innocents rather like April Fools’ Day. Alcoy - 22/24 Tirisiti live crib scene with the arrival of the Kings' ambassador.

Callosa del Segura - 24 th traditional singing of La Pastoral

Catral - 24 th   Special polyphonic Mass.

25 th Christmas Day and a national holiday although Albatera has a procession.

Rafal - from 26th until 6 th January the Zarsuela Pastoral is celebrated.

Agost - 26 th   the Dance of the Three Kings is held.

Ibi - Day of the Innocents is held with the Enfarinats taking hold of the   town.
